Ace Frehley, celebrated for his presence in the arena rock band Kiss, succumbed to blunt force injuries sustained in a stumble this past year, according to an autopsy report.

Frehley died peacefully on 16 October alongside relatives in a New Jersey town, some weeks after the fall occurred, his representative confirmed.

Medical Examiner Declares Demise an Mishap

The Morris county coroner's division concluded that Frehley’s death was not deliberate. Their findings noted that Frehley, 74, suffered broken facial bones near the eyes and one ear, along with bruising on his torso and limb, as well as his right hip and upper thigh.

"Reflecting on all of his remarkable accomplishments, the remembrance of him will endure for all time!" the loved ones' announcement expressed.

The Group and Their Memorable Impact

The renowned band, celebrated for popular tracks like Rock and Roll All Nite and I Was Made for Lovin’ You, gained fame for their spectacular concerts, featuring pyrotechnics and stage blood spewing from the faces of musicians adorned with protective gear, elevated footwear, false hair and signature black and white face paint.

The band's founding members featured Ace, vocalist-guitarist Stanley, the expressive Simmons and drummer Peter Criss. His passing marks the first among the four founding members.

The Guitarist's Career Contributions

Ace influenced a cohort of players and performed on Kiss’s first nine albums. His death was disclosed by his relatives last month, with his family members expressing they were together "deeply sorrowful and heartbroken" and his passing difficult to process.

Band members took on the identities of comic book-style characters – Frehley was referred to as his alter ego and Space Ace. The New York-born performer and music legend often experimented with special effects, causing his instruments to light up and shoot fireworks.

Background and Career

His birth name was Paul Daniel Frehley, he matured in a musical family and took up music at his early teens. Prior to his Kiss tenure, he performed with local bands around the Big Apple and was a roadie for Hendrix at his late teens.

The group were immensely famous in the 1970s era, selling tens of millions releases and authorizing its distinctive appearance to become a business phenomenon.
